I don't know about you, but I'm getting tired of bad news. It seems everytime you turn around there seems to be another story about the stock market, employment, the auto industry, the mortgage industry.
The one that caught my eye this week was about chairities. Giving is down. It's understandable I guess. Times are tough, the news is bad, people are holding on to what they have. But, what about those that don't have anything? It's my feeling that those that can, have to keep on keepin' on! If you can help either at the Salvation Army kettles or the food drives, please do. God forbid you ever need help, I hope it's there for you and it will only be there if we keep giving.

Between now and January 1st, ANGELS are always popular. Would you like to talk about them? (Not the weird, New Age-y type, but the traditional guardians we all love….)
Perhaps you might assume that the subject of angels and miracles---so big in the 90’s---are now out-of-date, or are limited to “religious people.” However, two polls taken last summer by Gallup and Fox News found that 78% of Americans now believe in angels, the highest percentage ever, and far higher than it was when I started writing about these heavenly topics fifteen years ago. My first book, Where Angels Walk, was on the New York Times best-seller list for 54 weeks, and six sequels have all remained in print. I have done hundreds of phoners during these years, as well as TV shows, videos and print interviews.
My newest book, ANGELS AND WONDERS, is meant to be especially consoling and reassuring in these troubled times. It includes true stories of angelic/spiritual happenings in the midst of personal chaos. There are plenty of upbeat goose-bumpy Christmas-y stories too, hopeful events that people of all faiths really love to hear, and I am happy to tell! An uplifting and fun interview!
